A visit to Enid, Oklahoma, is a great way to check out Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse. This science museum is hands on and is great for kids of all ages. Kids will really love the art studio where they can create a masterpiece of their very own or else build something special in the carpentry shop. There are many animals in the animal area to observe including ferrets, snakes, and chinchillas. There is also a warehouse that has been converted and there are even more animals to view there. In Adventure Quest, there is a playground and science park that is truly one of a kind and amazing. Kids will love it and parents will truly enjoy watching their kids learning and having fun. You can stay as little as a few hours or else you can stay for the entire day.
Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm and on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. The warehouse is closed on Mondays, however it does open on certain feral holidays. The outdoor science park, Adventure Quest, is open at noon during the week and on Saturdays at 10 am. The weather does affect when the park will be open so it is always good to call and double check. Special hours are in effect for Labor Day and Memorial Day and you can check the website to learn more about this.
Admission to Leonardo’s is $7 per person for kids two and up for both the indoor and outdoor play areas. Groups with more than 12 individuals pay $5 per person and seniors pay a reduced rate of $6 per person. On the day of your admission to Leonardo’s your admission allows you to enter and leave as is needed. This only applies to the date of purchase.
