It truly is amazing to see how far military aviation has come and the US Air Force Museum does a very good job of presenting the information in an easy to absorb way. Even the youngest visitor will be interested throughout the tour of the museum! One of the best parts of the museum is that the Memphis Belle is on display here and visitors will have a chance to look at this jet up close and personal!. The US Air Force Museum is open seven days a week from 9 am until 5 pm. The only days the museum is closed are on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
Admission to the museum is free of charge. This makes it a wonderful place to visit every time you are in Ohio because it does not cost anything at all! There is an IMAX theatre on site that does charge for showings, but this is completely worth the time and effort to visit. There is a café on site so families, school groups, and others can take a break from exploring the museum to eat some good food. Food and drink are only permitted in the cafeteria area and not in the museum galleries. Just a few minutes away from the museum are several fast food restaurants where visitors or school groups may choose to stop and eat lunch.
